There are two rounds of admission. You can candidate at round 1 or at Round 2, depending whether you apply on your nationality and country where you have been living during the past five years.
1) Group A candidates: 12 Erasmus Mundus scholarships (Admissions closed)
- Group A corresponds to nationals from another country than the European Union Member States or from Switzerland, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.
- Group A candidates who have been residents or have carried their main activities in one of the Group B countries for more than 12 months over the last five years, cannot be considered within the Group A.
- Group A candidates may apply for:
- Round 1: academic admission and an Erasmus Mundus scholarship,
- Round 2: academic admission only (no scholarship).
In this case, candidates have already sought other sources of scholarship or financial support. - 12 applicants may be awarded with an Erasmus Mundus scholarships
among the selected 30-40 candidates admitted at round 1. - The list of the beneficiaries is published at the same time as the academic admission.
2) Group B candidates: 7 Erasmus Mundus scholarships (Admissions closed)
- Group B corresponds to nationals from the European Union Member States, or from Swit-zerland, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein
- Group A candidates who have been residents or have carried their main activities in one of the Group B countries for more than 12 months over the last five years, can also be considered within the Group B
- Group B candidates may apply for:
- Round 2: academic admission and an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
- Round 2: academic admission only (no scholarship).
In this case, candidates have already sought other sources of scholarship or financial support - 7 applicants selected among the 20-30 candidates admitted at round 2, may be awarded with an Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
- The list of the beneficiaries is published at the same time as the academic admission.
Academic admission
Refers to the right to follow the course, after a review of the academic background and professional project of the applicant. Candidates may be admitted even though they are selected for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
Important! Being selected for admission or for a scholarship does not mean that you are fully admitted or that you will be definitely awarded with a scholarship. Conditions such as your English or Spanish level will be checked after the selections rounds mentioned above and may lead to the rejection for your selection.
Candidates are not allowed to apply to more than 3 Erasmus Mundus master courses for the same academic year.
Whatever the round of selection you choose:
- Information can be given by email by the Agris Mundus secretariat to check your eligibility: send the application form (.pdf or .doc only) + CV (in a single zip file).
- Full application file should be sent by air mail only with signed application form, CV, photocopies of degrees, academic references, passport copy, motivation letter, 2 recommendations letters.
Publication of the results
The results of the selection by the Agris Mundus consortium will be published on the website:
- March 5, 2010 round 1
- June 17, 2010 round 2
